Recensione: “The Piper At The Gates Of Doom” è il secondo lavoro dei DOOMSHINE, cult-band della scena DOOM METAL underground, in attività dal 2002.
Il quartetto proviene dal sud della Germania ed ha interessato i fan del genere con il bel debut-cd “Thy Kingdom Come” (per la defunta etichetta Iron Glory) e con un concerto al Doom Shall Rise festival nel 2003.
Il DOOM METAL dei Doomshine è potente, melodico e dalle atmosfere EPIC, nello stile dei colleghi Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus e Count Raven, bello oscuro ma non eccessivamente oppressivo.
