Recensione: DRAKKAR è una delle prime band della scena POWER METAL italiana degli anni 90.
A partire dal 1995, il gruppo milanese ha realizzato quattro album, contribuendo a creare la scena POWER METAL tricolore insieme a Rhapsody, Labyrinth, Domine, Secret Sphere, Vision Divine, White Skull ed altri agguerriti guerrieri musicali.
Drakkar ha inoltre suonato con Scorpions ed al Monsters Of Rock Festival 1998 con Deep Purple, Dream Theater, Saxon ed HammerFall.
“Run With The Wolf”, il quinto album dei Drakkar, è un grande album che mostra una vena EPIC POWER METAL assolutamente classica e di prima categoria, con un’ esaltante combinazione di aggressività POWER, melodie classiche, atmosfere EPIC ed arrangiamenti sinfonici, il tutto realizzato con onesta attitudine METAL ! Nel disco partecipano come ospiti il chitarrista Olaf Thorsen (Vision Divine, Labyrinth) ed il cantante Terence Holler (Eldritch).
Un must per i fan di Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Rage ed Helloween !
